The Premier League Swimming SuperTeams event held in Brisbane, Australia, in March 2024, was an outstanding success, delivering thrilling competition and unforgettable moments for both the athletes and fans. The event featured 8 elite teams, competing in two rounds of 15 races each, including 50m sprints, mixed relays, and a mystery event that kept everyone on edge.

One of the highlights was the draft selection process, where team captains strategically picked swimmers based on their 50m times, adding an exciting layer to the build-up of the event. The athletes delivered exceptional performances, with tight races and nail-biting finishes throughout the day. The cumulative points format ensured that every race counted, making the competition unpredictable until the very end.

In addition to the intense racing, the event also entertained spectators with live music, halftime shows, and challenges that kept the atmosphere electric. The top three teams, Aotearoa, Musashi, Sprint Revolution took home the cash prizes, but more importantly, the event demonstrated the potential of Premier League Swimming to push the boundaries of the sport and engage a wider audience.
